Christian Rap Track: “Any Weapon Formed” – Young C

I’m getting back into featuring some Christian music for your playlists. One of my favorite newer Christian rappers is Young C! He’s a great artist that y’all should check out, and his song “Any Weapon Formed” is a track y’all should have on your Christian R&B and Rap playlists!

The song’s message really speaks to the goodness of God in that “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” I love this track because it’s a reminder that the phrase is BIBLICAL. And God will stand on it.

Christian Rap Track: “In The Light”-Wande

May His goodness go before you, all around you, let Him guide you. In your coming and your going, He is for you, yeah, He is for you…

One of the newer Christian artists I really like right now is Christian rapper Wande! I’ve been following her for a minute, and I’m in love with one of her latest tracks, “In The Light.”

The music video for the track starts with a powerful verse — Ephesians 5:8: “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” And that says a lot about who we should be as Christians.

Christian Rap: “Rolled The Stone Away”-Mike Teezy

Every time I hit a brick wall, God still made a way
Oh yeah, He made a way, His saving grace. He died on the cross, and my debt was paid….

I love discovering new music, particularly Christian music that I can connect with. I just got into Christian rapper Mike Teezy over the past year or so, and this is one of my favorite tracks from him. “Rolled the Stone Away” is a personal song of gratitude to God from Mike that we can all apply to our individual stories.

The song talks about how because God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, and because Jesus rose from that grave, our sins are forgiven. We aren’t deserving of it, but God showed grace and mercy and CONTINUES TO.
