GODFIRMATION: God is the Mighty Warrior

I started our Monday “Godfirmations” as a reminder of Who God is and Who He’s called us to be. Today’s Godfirmation, taken from Zephaniah 3:17, is a reminder from the Bible that we have a Mighty Warrior fighting on our behalf.

GODFIRMATION: God is the Source of Our Joy

I love today’s Godfirmation! Psalm 16:11, a verse in a chapter written by David, reminds us that God should be the Source of our joy in life.

And it took me almost four months.

It was timely because, at the time I started reading Psalms, I was in a very fragile state in my life. I was house hunting in a TERRIBLE market and grappling with triggers about where I was in life. And, in that moment, I needed to read a book that deals with vulnerability and openness about your concerns with God, while still praising and trusting Him in the process. And that’s what Psalms is.
