Inspirational Jam: “Stages”-Jade Novah

“I’ve let some people down, didn’t fight back…made some choices that were good and some I want back. Went through s**t only to end up runnin’ right back…I got issues, but we all got issues like that…”

I love this new album Stages from singer Jade Novah but especially the title track! So much so, that I made it an Inspirational Jam in hopes to encourage someone. It’s definitely encouraging to me.

#MondayMotivation

It’s another new week so it’s time for some #MondayMotivation! Hoping that this quote from author and businessman Kobi Yamada pushes you to get started on that new goal!

Starting any new thing is scary. I know all too well. You’ve gotten comfortable in doing what you’ve always done so stepping out into the unknown is a major risk. There’s the risk of failure, hurt, and rejection. It’s nerve-wracking!

However, nothing great comes without risk. A calculated risk maybe, but a risk nonetheless. I’m realizing that greatness takes leaps off of cliffs into the unknown and finding your wings (strength, knowledge, growth) on the down.

Are you willing to take your leap?

Inspirational Jam: “No Sweat”-Jessie Reyez

I’ve been listening to “No Sweat” by Jessie Reyez pretty much every day and I wanted to share it with you all as an Inspirational Jam!

This song may sound familiar to some because it is currently being used in Secret Deodorant’s Women’s World 2020 campaign for their products. And yes, I’m using it because I love it! “No Sweat” is all about women empowerment but it also serves as motivation for all to give your best and never settle for less. I love it so much that I’m using it as one of my warm-up songs when I teach my upcoming Zumba classes!
