Again, I love sharing these Godfirmations on Imperfectly B because they continually remind me of the goodness of God. There’s so much we learn about Him when we just open the Bible and STUDY it, y’all.
This Godfirmation today is a reminder that God indeed has a plan for each of our lives and they WILL succeed. So as He has planned it, it will be done.
I know sometimes I worry about my future. A lot of us do and that’s understandable. We’re human. But this reminder to the people of Israel in Isaiah 14:24 reminds us that God is not sitting in Heaven with no idea about what’s happening. We can trust that He is an all-knowing God and is not caught by surprise with our lives. And His plans for us will indeed come to pass. His plans will prosper.
Note: GOD’S PLANS will prosper. Not necessarily ours.
There are plenty of things that I wanted for my life, things I planned out. I PLANNED to be a full-time entertainment writer living in Los Angeles. I PLANNED on having a family before 30. I planned…a lot. And a lot didn’t go according to my plan. God, on the other hand, had (and still has) a master plan for my life. My wins, unplanned losses and even the bonehead and heartwrenching mistakes He knew I would make? He would use it all for His glory.
Ultimately, we can rest assured that God has our lives in His hands. There will be some setbacks, some hardships, and some confusion along the way, but God’s plans — the ones not to harm us but to prosper us? — they will come to pass. And not so that we can flex…but that we can grow closer to God and help bring others closer to Him as well!
