Bible Verses When You’re Struggling With Comparison

Bible Verses When Struggling with Comparison Blog Cover

I don’t know about you but I definitely struggle with comparison from time to time. It’s gotten a lot better, but every now and then, it rears its ugly head.

Thankfully, the Bible gives us some encouragement (as well as rebuke!) about comparison. I want to share a few Bible verses we can all look to for guidance when struggling with comparing ourselves and our work to others. Click through the gallery below!

  • Bible Verses When You're Struggling with Comparison
  • Psalm 139:14
  • Romans 12:6
  • Proverbs 14:30
  • Colossians 3:23-24
  • Hebrews 13:5
  • Praying These Verses Encouraged You

I’m convinced that comparison can not only be the thief of joy, but that it can be the distractor of PURPOSE. Where we delay where God would have us to go because we’re too busy focusing on everyone around us.

That’s not always the devil at work. We give him too much credit. Often, that’s us getting in our own heads!

That’s why we need to combat comparison and other temporary life emotions with the eternal truth of God’s Word. It’s important for us to read the Bible, study the Bible, know the Bible, and most importantly, APPLY the Bible to our daily lives. God’s Word gets us all the way together!

Praying that these Bible verses encourage you and remind you that you don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else!
