Words of Wisdom: “Sacrifice Is A Prerequisite For Growth”-Inky Johnson

Today’s Words of Wisdom comes from motivational speaker Inky Johnson. He’s really become a favorite of mine in the past year or so!

In this clip from one of his speaking events, Inky talks about how any growth that we want to achieve in our lives is going to take more from us. More sacrifice. More discipline. More drive. More commitment. It’s going to take the sacrifice of the old person that you were.

Words of Wisdom: “Hard Work Is Undefeated”-Inky Johnson

I love this Words of Wisdom clip from motivational speaker Inky Johnson. I hope it pushes y’all today and beyond because it really has for me.

In this clip, Inky talks about how hard work is undefeated. He mentions that someone who is busting their tail to get better will always top and overshadow someone who’s just kind of working. Basically, you can tell how hard somebody is working by their results. There should always be some kind of growth, no matter how small. The numbers should be going down on the scale or in your measurements. The views should slowly be increasing. The business should be moving. The work should be getting better. Because of that, you have to have the mentality that you are going to put in the work regardless of how you feel.

I don’t ever want to work myself to the point of breakdown (I have in the past and it’s not cool). However, big dreams require big sacrifices. Big goals require hard work and don’t let any other blogger, speaker, influencer or whoever tell you any different. You can’t give all you got just when you feel like it. You can’t give 20% or 30% percent all the time and expect changes to happen for you. It takes consistent hard work to get where you want to be. I’m a witness on that. Hard work really is undefeated.
