Have you ever had someone promise to do something for you or with you and then flake? Ugh…I hate that. But I know I also haven’t always stuck to what I said I would do, especially not promises to myself.

But the God we serve isn’t fickle like us. This Godfirmation from Deuteronomy 7:9 reminds us of that. He’s faithful and He sticks to His Word!

Wednesday Word: “God’s Word Will Work For Itself”- Pastor Kim Owens

This Wednesday Word is something else from Pastor Kim Owens of Fresh Start Church in Peoria, AZ, especially at a time when there’s a good bit of inspirational preaching going on in the pulpit. The Bible is inspirational and uplifting, but it’s also a Word of correction and rebuke when needed. And we need to hear all of that.

GODFIRMATION: God Loves Us (and Sent a Savior for Our Sins)

This is the most important Godfirmation of all, and it has been on my heart heavy these days!

Does it ever sink in with y’all that God really loves us? And that He loved us enough to send Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we could live eternally with Him? All of this was planned out before we on Earth were even born. That’s wild to me STILL.

Five Ways To Celebrate Jesus This Christmas Season

It’s officially December and Christmas is right around the corner! While the holidays are often lauded as a time to eat, spend time with loved ones, and get presents, this season is truly about JESUS. The Advent (“Arrival”) season, as this period is also called in the Christian community, is about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Because we can get caught up in all of the hoopla that comes with this season, we all need a reminder that Jesus should be our focus this December. With that being said, here are five ways that you can reflect and celebrate Jesus this Advent season.
