As we kick off the week, here’s a Godfirmation to encourage you all! It’s a reminder that, even though we may grow weary with the stresses and aggravations of life, God doesn’t tire out. He’s more than able to fight our battles and give us strength and comfort when we need it.

GODFIRMATION: God is Patient
This Godfirmation today is a reminder that God’s timing is truly perfect, especially when it comes to our salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 is a reminder of God’s patience towards us in that regard.
People often associate the eighth and ninth verses of this chapter with God’s patience and promises in our own lives. And I believe that He is. God’s ways are not our ways, and He operates as a master strategizer knowing just what we need when we need it. But, while others may apply this verse to God’s promises for their individual lives, there is a greater purpose. This is applicable to our ETERNAL lives.

I had to share this Wednesday Word from evangelist, author, and actress Priscilla Shirer. It’s so timely for my life right now, and I hope that others will be able to pull something from it as well.

It’s Palm Sunday, which is the day Jesus made his triumphant entry into Jerusalem as depicted in the Gospels (Matthew 21:1-11; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:28-40, and John 12:12-19) I’ll be honest with y’all, though I always had a bit of a qualm about Palm Sunday, because the Jews were praising Jesus, shouting “Hosanna, Hosanna!” that day. Less than a week later, it was “Crucify Him!”
Now understandably, everything that happened HAD to happen for Jesus to fulfill His mission to die and rise from the dead for our sins. But still…those people were FICKLE! But then again…I’ve been too. My pastor broke it down in his Palm Sunday sermon this year, and he reminded me that this is a prime example of why it’s important to be a FOLLOWER of Jesus and not just a fan.

I’m a huge fan of Your Favorite Aunties Podcast with real-life friends Nia Danielle and ShaMarian Robinson! These ladies are out here trying to navigate life God’s way, and give some great advice and laughs with their podcast and social media clips.
I had to post this clip because I NEED closed captions turned on when I’m watching TV. So much so, that, if I’m over your house watching TV long enough, I’m going to turn them on myself (just ask my parents). And clearly, my fellow aunties agree with me!
