This is the most important Godfirmation of all, and it has been on my heart heavy these days!
Does it ever sink in with y’all that God really loves us? And that He loved us enough to send Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we could live eternally with Him? All of this was planned out before we on Earth were even born. That’s wild to me STILL.
When I sit and think about all that I’ve done in my life (especially all the bad…yikes), I’m grateful that God loved us and sent His Son (1 John 4:10). I know I take that for granted sometimes. But the Advent season is the perfect reminder. There’s nothing that any of us have done where we can’t be redeemed by God.
For those who want to accept this wonderful Savior, please know that there’s nothing that you have done that keeps God from loving you. The prayer of salvation is really simple:
God,
I know that I am a sinner and I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die for me and rose from the grave. I ask that You come into my heart, forgive me and cleanse me of my sins, and help me to live my life for You from this day forward!
I thank You and I love You,
