I’m in awe a lot these days of God. Who He is and all that He’s done. Not even on a personal level, but just in awe of how He created this entire world we live in. When I’m out in nature, I always say to myself, “Wow, God is a true ARTIST!”
This Godfirmation is a reminder that God truly is omnipotent (all-powerful). His power was used to create the whole universe, split the Red Sea, knock down the walls of Jericho, calm storms, walk on water, and so many other incredible miracles. Why do we think that He needs US to make things happen?
Let’s break down Isaiah 44:24.
- Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb. Soooo….God formed us and knew us before we were even officially US. We are His creations too, not the
- “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by Myself…” Meaning He needed nothing and no one to help Him as Creator. For me, it’s a reminder that He doesn’t need MY help to work. He’s God all by Himself. And if He managed to put this whole universe together, He could solve my issues. But I have to be willing to give Him the reins!
With the all-powerful God on YOUR side, you can trust that He has everything around you under control. Even when things look absolutely wild (and they are DEFINITELY wild across the world right now!). We can trust that our omnipotent God will take care of us.
