Gospel legend Yolanda Adams delivered this motivating hit, “Never Give Up,” back in 2001, but the message obviously still rings true. When you have a vision for your life, and start really working on making it a reality, so many things happen. Some doors open…some slam right in your face. Some people support you, while others laugh or discredit you. It can be a real up and down journey, with the end far from sight.
However, as Yolanda sings on this song, it’s important that we keep our dreams alive and not be so afraid or discouraged at the bad moments that we give up entirely. I’d be lying to you if I said you’ll never have a moment of doubt or fear. I still have mine, and many others who you may look up to probably do as well. But, when you have a dream that you’re passionate about, your true life’s purpose, you can’t give up on it or yourself. “Every victory comes in time…work today to change tomorrow.”
