Definitely had to share this track from musical artist DEVMO. Her work has been heard on multiple shows like “The Kardashians,” “Jersey Shore,” “All-American” (which I think is where I may have first heard this track!), and “Perfect Match” on Netflix. This song “Never Back Down” is one of my favorite songs right now!
The track is one on quite a few of my playlists, including my gym playlist. It’s a bold statement (and, to an extent, a moment of tough love) to encourage listeners to put in the work toward our goals and never quit on them. There are some painful moments, sure, as well as moments of uncertainty, but you really only lose when you quit completely. “I’ve been working on it every day and no, I never give up … Sacrifices that I made so I could be a winner,” DEVMO said at the end of the track. “Lost a million times but every single time I get up … They tried to push me down but I always kept my head up.”
