#MondayMotivation

Hoping that this #MondayMotivation quote really hits home for someone today. It reminds us that we can’t keep complaining about things not changing around for us when we’re not doing what we need to make that happen. Wishing you all a great and productive week!

This quote is one that I needed to be reminded of on a few different fronts but, particularly, my fitness journey. I’m making some very slow progress because I’ve been making very small changes. While that’s been great in developing a true lifestyle change, I know I’ve been slacking. I could do much more if I change around bad nutritional habits and sleep patterns that I know are not working for me in the long run. However, lately, I’ve been complaining about not seeing the changes I want.

How dare I? I haven’t been doing the work. 

If you really want things to change, you have to not only be willing to do your part. You have to actually DO your part. Otherwise, you can pretty much bet that things will stay exactly the same and you really don’t have right to complain. If you know that you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing, GET TO WORK.

If you ARE putting in the work, just stay the course! You certainly won’t get to where you want to be if you quit now.
