With everything going in the United States right now, especially as a young, black woman, I’ll admit that I’m struggling to be optimistic right now. Still, I wanted to share some #MondayMotivation to keep me going as well as you all. This quote comes from French poet and novelist Anatole France.
This quote reminds us that action is what matters, not just dreaming and talking. It’s nice to dream big and imagine all that we can achieve with our lives. Really nice. However, none of it is going to happen without action.
As with the Black Lives Matter movement, you can’t just continue to sit on the sidelines and talk about what you want to accomplish. You have to actually make a commitment to act on them, even when you can’t see the end in sight. That’s the only way to make great things happen.
