This #MondayMotivation quote from late long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine is one that is very timely for me in my life right now. I hope that it encourages you to step beyond what you know and go after something even greater.
During this time of quarantine, I’ve been doing a lot of reflection and prayer. It was hard, but I’ve come to terms exactly what I wanted for my personal and professional life. I’m grateful for what God has blessed me with and what I’ve achieved so far. However, I have bigger goals and that’s okay. It means more work behind the scenes and courageous moves. It’s going to mean making some tough decisions in the near future but I’m ready.
To achieve the great things ahead for you, you have to prepare yourself to walk away from the good. You have to step out into the unknown. It’s absolutely terrifying but I’d rather be scared and shoot for new things than to be comfortable and stay stuck. How about you?
