This #MondayMotivation quote from actor Will Rogers is a strong reminder not to dwell too long in the past.

When failure happens, we often get down on ourselves and for good reason. We feel embarrassed or hurt. It can seem like that failure is the end all-be all for our lives (though I promise it really isn’t). Dwelling on past mistakes and losses, however, does nothing but hold you back from achieving more and getting better. It’s also easy to get caught up in past VICTORIES. You can indeed be so focused on the previous wins that you stop working as hard as you need to secure future ones. I’ve been there.

Whether you won, lost, or had a neutral day yesterday, today is a new day. That means it’s time to pick yourself up and start fresh on the next task, project, or goal. Shake off whatever happened in the past because it’s behind you now. Let’s work towards something new!
