Words of Wisdom: “Focus On The Quality Of Your Work”-T.I.

I needed to hear these Words of Wisdom from T.I. this morning for sure. I hope it gives you the push you need today and beyond.

In an interview, T.I. shared exactly why artists and other celebrities come and go in the entertainment business. They get so caught up in likes and attention that they let the quality of their work fall to the wayside. They begin to focus more on themselves instead of the very people that they are supposed to serve.

This isn’t just applicable to artists and other celebrities. This is for all of us, especially those of us who are trying to build brands or our own businesses. It’s easy to get caught up in how many people like or retweet your posts (you can even pay for them if it makes you feel better). But the ultimate reason why people will keep coming back to you for a service, products, or other abilities and talents you have will be the quality of your work.

I have to remind myself of that all of the time. My work is about more than just me. It’s about being a light to others. It’s about serving others and not myself for real. That is what sets you apart no matter what line of work you’re in.
