Ahead of the release of Avengers: Endgame, some of the cast from the movie collaborated with Disney to host a major charity event for sick children.
Actors Robert Downey Jr., Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, and Jeremy Renner joined Disney CEO Bob Iger at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim for a fun day with kids near the area. The event celebrated a $5 million grant to benefit children’s hospitals! That grant includes both cash and toys. Disney also plans to give $1 million of the donation to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

During this special day, the cast honored these children and their families with a special ceremony where the grant was announced. “The kids that are here today are actually the ones that inspire us because you are the embodiment of what these characters are that we represent on screen,” Brie shared during the event. The cast also took pictures with kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim and Garden Grove and played with Avengers toys
