These Words of Wisdom from John Cena may seem a little cliche, but I definitely think they can help somebody. They’re helpful to me for sure.
In this short clip, the wrestling star stands in the ring and imparts some wise words. Clearly coming back from a setback, John encourages them to never give up. It’s easy to say but harder to live.
Failure is painful. Rejection is painful. Setbacks are painful. Especially when you experience them over and over and over again after you tried so hard at something. However, picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and moving forward is all a part of the process. Even when you experience victories, failures are still inevitable in those wins. It’s how you bounce back that matters. “I’ve often said a man’s character is not judged after he celebrates a victory but by what he does when his back is against the wall,” John shares in the video.
