This quote from teacher and philosopher Confucius serves as motivation to get up when we drop the ball. When we make mistakes. When we flat out fall on our faces. It’s understandable that you might want to give up after getting yet another job rejection or failed pitch. It’s easy to walk away when things get harder than you can bear. But DON’T.
Please don’t get it twisted. Even if they never say anything, those who achieve amazing things aren’t just out here winning with no losses. I’m sure they failed plenty of times. The difference between them and others is that they got back up to try again. That’s partly how winners win. They refuse to quit. They’re not about to stop doing what they do because of a few setbacks. Rise up anyway.
