I know about this quote all too well. Over the past few years, I’ve had to risk and sacrifice quite a few things for my future. It’s been worth it, though. I’ve grown in my career, in my finances, in my relationships, and in my overall life.
Without risk and sacrifice, there’s no movement. There’s no growth. You end up staying stuck right where you are. If you’re cool with that, all power to you. I refuse. I want to be GREAT, not ordinary. I don’t have to be famous or super rich (though more money is definitely a goal). But I want to make an impact with my life. I want to be able to live well and expose my future family to a life even greater than the one I had. I’m finding that it’s going to take a lot more sacrifice and risk that I thought, but I’m up for it.
