Today’s #MondayMotivation quote is in honor of the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I’m sure this quote applied to his journey towards ending segregation with other civil rights leaders and protesters. They didn’t know for sure if and when things would ever change, but they had faith. They had hope. They had vision. Even though they couldn’t see the “whole staircase,” they had faith enough to take the first step towards it.
The same goes for us with our life goals. We may not be able to see exactly how things are going to happen and it may take a while for dreams to become reality. However, when you have faith and continuously press towards the mark, things begin to change. Growth happens. Progress is made. I know because I’ve seen it for myself. So take the first step…and then another…and another.
