This #MondayMotivation quote from Sir Winston Churchill is one that we all need to read. I know I do.
It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of someone and speak your piece. It’s scary to share your opinion especially in a crowd of people. However, it also takes courage and an open mind to sit down with someone who has different viewpoints and experiences than you and listen. That’s a true mark of a leader to me and a humble person overall.
That’s something that I’ve been working on. I can really talk when I’m passionate about something, and I’ve struggled to listen to others over the years. Now I’m making a conscious effort to. The things you learn from others when you actually do that. The changes you can make are amazing. Let’s try to listen more than we talk, you guys!
