Rising singer Dani Brillhart‘s track “Won’t Break Me” is so soothing and encouraging. I heard this song on an episode of Black Ink Crew on VH1 one night and loved it. The song shows true strength and determination in spite of those who may try to tear her down.
I reflected on this song this morning, thinking about the past few years of my life. So much has happened. Some good and a good chunk of bad, but I was blessed with enough strength to keep going. I had to cry and vent some days and my head was in a negative space for a while, but I still tried to keep pushing through. I didn’t want my circumstances or those who weren’t in my corner to break me. Now, I’m in a much better place on all fronts and it feels amazing.
I hope that this song encourages you as it has for me. Days may seem rough right now for you, but (*cliché alert*) there is light at the end of the tunnel.
