A lot of people in this world are smart and gifted, but may not always put in the work needed to get ahead in using those gifts. You can be as talented as you want to be, but, without discipline and consistency in your work, that doesn’t matter.
This quote reminds us that what gets us ahead is the hard work that we put in, even when we don’t necessarily want to do it. That work that others might not necessarily do or want to do will allow us to accomplish more and actually get to our goals. So I encourage you to keep plugging away in spite of how you feel this week and beyond!
