I got hit with some not so pleasant news this week that kind of threw me for a loop for a second. However, my mental game is so much stronger than it used to be. Now when I miss out on things or face rejection, I look at it truly as it just wasn’t meant for me. I dust myself off, believing that everything is going to be fine in the end.
That’s why I love “Be Alright” by Ariana Grande. The song is a reminder that, no matter what I’m facing, everything is going to work itself out. My dad is always telling me an old adage he would hear from my Nana: “Into each life, a little rain must fall.” But the good news is that the storms don’t last forever. The tears will come and go. You have to know that, whatever you’re going through, things are going to work out for your good. Move with that mentality. Even if you shed a few tears and go through some pain, make up in your mind that you’re going to keep going knowing that everything is going to be alright.
